This activity focused on the Free Curriculum material and was divided into two sessions. The invited speaker to provide the material was Adriana Martha Ngongo, S.Pd., M.Pd.K., Coordinator of Supervisors for Senior High Schools\/Vocational Schools\/Special Needs Schools in West Sumba District, East Nusa Tenggara Province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>First Session: Saturday, June 1, 2024 (08:00 &#8211; 11:00 WITA)<\/strong><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"WhatsApp Image 2024-06-01 at 03.17.22\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXee3FL08Pnm21NxUHvWI8s3vLZhX_bMn2QX7ECyOguCLE2hwjGAtCPHashoVE8SITKTt4-GsisFClIX8KqjbqqVfoo7imy2BARN9-mqbcLhjtrK2wUCRIrqXbGHpE6LtnPV_acmSFKPUltKNmAlwO_rORhIMv7haorqLEyXpaP_5UDAGK5tn6w?key=ukukDd5dyeUgzheu9rwGWA\" width=\"553\" height=\"311\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first session was held in class A with a total of 43 registered students, but only 14 students attended. The activity started at 08:00 and ended at 11:00 WITA. Adriana Martha Ngongo opened the session by providing an understanding of the basic concept of the Free Curriculum, including its goals, principles, and implementation in schools. The discussion focused on how the Free Curriculum can enhance learning flexibility and encourage creativity and innovation among students. Despite the suboptimal student attendance, the interaction between the speaker and the participants was highly interactive with numerous questions and in-depth discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Second Session: Saturday, June 1, 2024 (11:10 &#8211; 14:10 WITA)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXe_JIOmSywgmMTPui2Vkovf1lsNVKoqULE7YCSNerVox4Yl9ujw8pxaipgkb7j4uG0VhC51RM1_Kgx6HDAqLaL0lId4q9BSzAMi43ZKZB-uANVGiIEIwdoOKqoTCHsv82tSFh-wYiFlFpTeBAv7BiTeJgpcTmGGklwVfRt-wLj_mEJHfkRgBSI?key=ukukDd5dyeUgzheu9rwGWA\" alt=\"WhatsApp Image 2024-06-01 at 03.17.20 (1)\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The second session was held in class B with a total of 47 registered students, but only 17 students attended. The activity started at 11:10 and ended at 14:10 WITA. In this session, Adriana Martha Ngongo continued the discussion on the practical aspects of the Free Curriculum, including implementation strategies in schools, potential challenges, and solutions to overcome these challenges. The attending students showed high interest and actively engaged in discussions, discussing case studies and scenarios for implementing the Free Curriculum in various types of schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This practitioner lecture activity is part of efforts to improve the quality of education through collaboration with practitioners from outside the campus, providing practical insights and direct experience to students. It is hoped that through this activity, students can gain a more comprehensive and applicable understanding of the Free Curriculum, and be ready to apply it in their future workplaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, despite the suboptimal student attendance, this practitioner lecture activity went well and received positive feedback from attending students.
